Welsh Government is hosting a national event on 17 November as part of Anti-Bullying Week 2026.
3 September 2026

Event details

Join us on Tuesday 17 November 2026 at Sophia Gardens (Glamorgan Cricket Club), Cardiff, from 10:30am to 2:45pm for a national event showcasing new anti-bullying resources and support available to schools across Wales.

Event supporters

We are delighted that Owen Evans, Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales (Estyn), will host the event, bringing his extensive expertise and passion for supporting excellence across the Welsh education system.

We are also pleased to welcome Nigel Owens MBE, Patron of the Bullies Out charity, as a special guest. Alongside the Cabinet Secretary for Education and the Welsh Language and partner organisations, Nigel will help celebrate the commitment of schools and practitioners who are making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people across Wales.

You can help learners nominate a member of staff for the Anti-Bullying Schools Staff Awards Wales on the Bullies Out website.

Please note that nominations close at 5.00 pm on 25 September.

Registration

The event is open to primary and secondary school practitioners, as well as local authority representatives.

Secure your place at the event and register now on Business Wales Events.

Lunch will be provided.

What to expect

Attendees will be among the first to see a range of new and updated resources, including practical anti-bullying materials and information on the forthcoming Safer Internet Day 2027 campaign.

Whether you are looking for practical materials, examples of effective practice or the latest policy developments, this event offers a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues from across Wales and support a shared commitment to tackling bullying and promoting inclusion.
