The programme includes a range of activities specifically designed for primary school pupils, including:

Secret Chest for Year 4: a problem-solving activity designed to develop critical thinking and teamwork skills.
Digital Forensics Investigation for Year 5: a multi-session project where pupils investigate a fictional digital crime and develop practical digital forensics skills.
IoT Competition for Year 6: a project where pupils design their own Internet of Things (IoT) device, considering its purpose, risks and cyber security.
Networking Project for Year 6: a practical activity introducing pupils to the fundamentals of computer networking.
Digital Leaders, Cyber Heroes: a train-the-trainer programme giving Digital Leaders the skills and resources to share online safety messages within their school.
The programme works with primary schools across Southeast Wales and aims to inspire pupils, raise aspirations and showcase the exciting career opportunities available within STEM, technology and cyber security.
NDEC is also currently developing new activities, meaning further opportunities for schools will be available in the future.
