These supporting materials have been produced to support curriculum design within schools and settings. They build on the Curriculum for Wales guidance and new school improvement guidance, and set out practical support for curriculum development, quality assurance, and self-evaluation.

National Network Conversation Pack: Progression and Assessment
A slide pack to facilitate a conversation on your understanding and realisation of progression and assessment in your school, drawing on the principles of progression and purposes of assessment and including links to further resources.
CAMAU Assessing for the Future
CAMAU Assessing for the Future is a package containing a handbook, which provides essential information about the use of the resource, and six workshop sessions for you to undertake. This resource has been produced for use by practitioners, schools and settings to develop your capacity and skills related to assessment as you engage with the ‘Curriculum for Wales guidance’.
You will find a link to the handbook within the introduction of each workshop. You should refer to this handbook before considering the workshop descriptors in detail as it provides essential information about the use of this resource, will inform your understanding of the development process and will enable you to navigate the resource.

Assessment within Curriculum for Wales
These playlists are a suite of professional learning modules, grouped by themes, aimed at supporting practitioners, schools and settings to develop classroom assessment practice aligned with the aspirations of Curriculum for Wales. Each module within the suite can be used to support professional dialogue with colleagues in your school or setting. Alternatively it could be used asynchronously as part of self-directed professional learning.
