8. Welsh language standards

Your resource, including videos, audio clips and all other elements, must:

To comply with Welsh language standards, video content must treat the Welsh language equally to English. This typically involves creating videos in both Welsh and English. Additionally, all videos must include closed captions in the language of the video. 

Read the ‘Publishing videos on Hwb’ section for full information on creating videos compliant with the Welsh language standards.

Any document hosted on Hwb must be provided separately in Welsh and English. This includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF documents. Bilingual documents are only accepted if they are specifically for developing multilingual skills.
