In Olchfa secondary School, Swansea all learners and practitioners are able to access shared areas through Google apps. from any location at any time. Learners submit work and check their own progress and attendance, developing their responsibility and independence. Teachers provide accessible activities, give feedback, more effectively monitor learners’ progression and it ensures coursework is submitted securely.
Using net-books is flexible; it allows instantaneous interaction within the class and the teacher to re-focus the lesson using probing questioning producing more effective discussion. It describes different examples of use in particular curriculum areas and future developments for collaborative working.
