Welsh Government invested in providing every teacher and learner in Wales access to Minecraft Education. Furthermore, Hwb have initiated their Hwb Minecraft Learning Centres (MLC) across Wales.

Hwb Minecraft Learning Centres are groups of practitioners from schools across Wales. The practitioners have been chosen by Hwb to support other practitioners with the aim of enriching the Curriculum for Wales by using Minecraft Education to ignite a passion for creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving and personal effectiveness through game-based learning. In essence, teachers supporting teachers.

The Hwb MLCs host regular workshops to provide teachers with the opportunity to unlock the potential of Minecraft Education in their classroom and enrich the Curriculum for Wales. More details can be found Minecraft Education - enriching the new Curriculum for Wales.

The ‘Minecraft Education Teacher Academy’, created by the Microsoft Educator Community, is available.

Supporting Minecraft Education is a Microsoft Team teachers can join, using their Hwb e-mail address. This support Team has a wide range of resources linking to Areas of Learning and Experience, Blended Learning and a community to discuss ideas and answer questions.

The Minecraft Education Community Hub helps you to get support, connect with the community, and learn what’s possible with Minecraft in the classroom.

Support from the Minecraft Education technical team is available by opening a ticket.
