Guidance Developing Numerical Reasoning - video clips

They are a useful resource for school training sessions and support the key messages included in the ‘Leadership Guide’.

The National Support Programme provided training sessions in Spring 2014 to help school leaders move forward with the ‘Developing Numerical Reasoning’ element of the Literacy and Numeracy Framework (the LNF). Participants were provided with the Leadership Guide, which provides detailed advice and resources.

These four short video clips capture some of the key messages from that training. They can be used as a reminder of those messages for participants or as a starting point for working with the Leadership Guide for school leaders who could not attend the training. However, perhaps their most useful role is as a resource for school training sessions; each clip ends with some ‘talking points’ designed to stimulate discussion.
