It provides an overview of the importance of structured educational play/active learning. Play/active learning should be an essential part of the children’s curriculum. This approach should be an entitlement for all 3 to 7-year-olds in the Foundation Phase.
More specifically, as a stand-alone document, it provides an overview of the importance of structured educational play/active learning, and the different stages of development and skills that young children may acquire.
