The examples provided will help practitioners in deciding best-fit outcomes for children.
This booklet and the accompanying DVD are intended to support assessment at the end of the Foundation Phase. They will assist in:
- preparing to award a best-fit outcome at the end of the Foundation Phase
- working with other practitioners to reach a shared understanding of the outcomes within the Foundation Phase Framework for children’s Learning for 3 to 7-year-olds in Wales
- supporting transition from Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2.
