Meic

Meic is a confidential, anonymous, and free bilingual helpline service for children and young people up to the age of 25 in Wales.

From finding out what’s going on in your local area to help dealing with a tricky situation, Meic will listen even when it feels like no-one else will. They won’t judge you and will help by giving you information, useful advice and the support you need.

Meic is open 8am to midnight, 7 days a week. You can contact us by phone, SMS text and instant messaging. Meic is confidential, anonymous, free, and just for you.

Childline

Childline

Childline is a free, private and confidential service available to anyone under 19 in the UK where you can talk about anything. Whatever your worry, they are there to listen.

If you have concerns specifically about coronavirus, Childline have Coronavirus guidance available.

There are lots of different ways to speak to a Childline counsellor or get support from other young people.

You can call on 0800 1111.  It is free to call and it won’t show on your bill. Lines are open from 9am – 12pm.

You can speak with a counsellor in a safe space online about whatever is worrying you in a 1-2-1 chat

You can also join other young people on the message boards.

You can also send an email.

Samaritans

Samaritans

Samaritans is a helpline service which is available 24/7 for anyone who’s struggling to cope or who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure.

You can talk to Samaritans about what is happening and how you’re feeling and they will help you to find a way forward.

Whatever you're going through, call Samaritans free any time, from any phone, on 116 123.
