The event was held on Wednesday 20 June 2018 at the Exhibition Hall, Celtic Manor, Newport.

National Digital Learning Council's Pupil Award
Kirsty Williams AM, Cabinet Secretary for Education, opened the event and announced the winner of the National Digital Learning Council’s Pupil Award.
The winner of this year’s award was Usk Church in Wales Primary School with their project ‘Keeping It Fresh - an app to reduce food waste’. View a video about the project below.
The following applications were commended by the judges.

Following stakeholder feedback, this year’s event focused on the ‘Digital Marketplace’ which showcased innovative examples of how digital practices are being developed in schools across Wales. Practitioners from across the Welsh education sector provided practical insights into how they are approaching the implementation of the Digital Competence Framework as part of the wider curriculum reform programme in Wales.
