In the context of COVID-19 and our Digital 2030 strategic framework for digital learning, we are focusing on supporting practitioners to engage with digital learning and blended learning.

This online guide to Digital 2030 from Jisc is designed for FE colleges, work-based learning and adult learning providers. The guide includes resources and practical examples (relevant for staff in different roles) to help you on your Digital 2030 journey.
This Post-16 professional learning scoping study was commissioned by Welsh Government to better understand how professional learning could support the post-16 workforce to meet the challenges facing the sector.

This collection of material, developed in consultation with our Blended Learning Working Group, includes guidance on blended learning for learning providers and teaching practitioners.
This digital pedagogy toolkit has been developed by Jisc subject specialists in digital practice with feedback from the UK’s higher, further education and skills sectors. The aim of this toolkit is to promote ideas and inspiration, and current approaches in curriculum design theory.

Online resources to support digital and blended learning
The Welsh Government has signposted a number of useful resources for learners, parents and learning providers relating to Post-16 Learning and Skills on Hwb, including free online resources to support learner transitions (for learners in years 11 and 13), Seren Academy learners, basic digital skills, Welsh medium learning and learning Welsh.
Hwb’s Keeping safe online zone supports children and young people, parents/carers, practitioners and governors, with online safety and cyber security.
A number of digital learning resources are publicly available within the Vocational and Post-16 Resources area of Hwb. This area includes curriculum-related resources, and material relating to other non-curriculum topics (e.g. additional learning needs, safeguarding, mental health and well-being).
Hwb also includes resources to support preparation for GCSEs in English, Mathematics and Welsh.
Learn My Way provides free courses to help individuals improve their basic digital skills and get online.
In partnership with colleges in Wales, the Open University has developed free online courses for anyone wanting to improve their everyday skills in Maths and English.
Jisc has published a list of digital resources to support vocational subjects in Wales. The list is provided in English only, but includes available Welsh medium resources.
