We’ve all been spending more time online during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, whether to stay in touch with friends and family, keep up with school work or for entertainment. Keeping yourself safe online has never been more important.

Many of you have been taking steps to protect yourselves and others and online we were keen to learn about your experiences.

We called on children and young people in Wales to design a creative a poster or graphic that expressed their experience of keeping safe online. E.g. helping others in sharing kindness, fact checking information (there has been lot of misleading information out there!), reflecting on their digital footprint and what they post online or how they’ve kept their online accounts secure.

We will be publishing these experiences on Hwb and a selection of designs will be chosen to feature in the 2020 Digital Resilience in Education action plan for children and young people, due for publication during the Autumn term 2020

Closing date for submissions was Wednesday 30 September 2020.

Submissions for the Keeping safe online summer challenge have now closed.
