A one-day conference for education practitioners and professionals in Wales

Tuesday 7th March – Venue Cymru, Llandudno

Tuesday 14th March – Principality Stadium, Cardiff

These one-day conferences will distil the key information you need to know about digital resilience and offer some suggestions about how you can best implement online safety in your school.

The events, which are funded by the Welsh Government, have been designed to benefit education practitioners and professionals including teachers, safeguarding leads in local authorities and members of the regional education consortia.

Keynote speakers will include:

  • The UK Safer Internet Centre providing context on the online safety landscape and current challenges
  • Estyn on creating the right school culture and approaches to keep learners safe online

There will be ample opportunity to find out about individual topics such as online relationships, misinformation and social media. These practical sessions will be interactive so you can ask questions and discuss with the rest of the group. You will get to choose which sessions to attend to ensure you participate in the ones that are most relevant to you. This in-person event will also give you a chance to network with colleagues from across Wales, exchange ideas and share good practice.
