Guidance Best practice video case study: St Thomas Primary School

Using ICT to engage parents of early years children in the learning process.

Following a merger with Margret Street Nursery, St Thomas’ Primary School in Swansea worked with the Swansea University SPLICT project to access special software that allowed parents/carers of early years children to engage with their toddlers’ education in the same way the school had done with parents/carers of older children.

The school trained the parents/carers to use the software and an associated website to create stimulating and educational activity for the children.
